Airbnb description generator for Bali villas

Paste your Airbnb link or text: a score out of 100, what to fix and why, and a better description in the languages you pick, using only your facts.

Optional: three facts only you know (they make the text much better)
Languages for the new text

Up to 2 without an account, up to 4 with a free account. Airbnb lets you add your own version in each language; otherwise guests see an automatic translation.

What we check

19 rules you can also apply yourself. Tap one to see why it matters.

Airbnb rules

Contact details or outside links in the text
Airbnb's Off-Platform Policy bans phone numbers, emails, links and messenger names in listings; they get hidden and can lead to the listing being suspended.
Emojis or symbols in the title
Airbnb's content policy doesn't allow emojis and symbols in listing titles; remove them to avoid the title being flagged.

Facts guests look for

The description is short
Guests decide from the text and photos. A few lines leave out the facts they look for: rooms, distances, what is included.
No distances or travel times
"Close to the beach" means nothing to a guest; "7 minutes' walk to Bingin Beach" does. Give minutes or metres to the beach, cafés and the airport.
Number of bedrooms isn't in the text
Groups and families filter by bedrooms first; saying it in the first lines confirms the villa fits.
The area isn't named
In Bali the area decides the trip (surf, nightlife, rice fields). Name it, and the nearest beach or street guests know.
Some Airbnb sections are empty
Guests check rooms and layout in "The space", what they can use in "Guest access", and quirks or rules in "Other things to note". Empty sections leave those questions open.
No places named
"Close to restaurants" fits every listing. Name the beach, café or temple guests can look up, with minutes on foot or by scooter.
Wi-Fi without a speed
Remote workers book on Wi-Fi speed. If you know it, give the Mbps figure.

Readability

The first line is a stock opener
On a phone most guests read only the paragraph before "Show more". Openers like "Welcome to" or "Escape to" spend it on nothing; start with the most distinctive thing about the villa.
Latin letters mixed into Cyrillic words
Words like "мeтpo" with look-alike Latin letters don't match guests' searches on the platform and break translation and screen readers. Type them in one alphabet.
One long block of text
A wall of text is hard to read on a phone. Short paragraphs, one topic each, are easier to scan.
Stock phrases instead of facts
Words like "paradise", "stunning" or "nestled" appear in thousands of listings and tell the guest nothing. Replace each with something specific.
The text repeats the amenity list
Wi-Fi, air conditioning, parking and TV are already shown in Airbnb's amenity panel. Use the words for what the panel can't show: layout, what's special, what's nearby.
The first section is too short or too long
The listing description is what shows before "Show more". About 350 to 500 characters gives the guest enough to keep reading.
Too many capitals, exclamation marks or emojis
It reads like an advert and hides the facts. Let the facts do the work.

Title

The title's first words don't say what the place is
On phones Airbnb shows only about the first 32 characters of the title. Put the bedrooms, the pool or the area there.
Title in capitals
All-caps titles read as shouting and are harder to scan.

Language

English guests see Airbnb's automatic translation
Your listing was written in another language, so English-speaking guests read a machine translation. Airbnb lets you add your own English version in the listing editor.

Questions

Is it really free?
Yes. Without an account you get the score, every fix and the full new description (all five sections and titles) for up to 2 listings. A free account (no card) adds the full reasons, any number of listings, 4 languages, a download, the comparison with villas nearby and the live market data.
Will it make things up?
It is told to use only the facts in your text, title, amenity list and your answers, to leave a section empty rather than pad it, and we remove any sentence with a number that wasn't in your input. Instead of guessing, it lists what you should add. Read the result before you paste it.
How is the text structured?
In the order Airbnb shows it: a 350 to 500 character description that leads with the most distinctive thing (most guests on phones read only this part), then the space, guest access, the neighbourhood with named places and real minutes, and other things to note. Standard amenities like Wi-Fi or air conditioning stay in Airbnb's amenity list instead of the text.
Which languages?
English, Indonesian, Russian, German, French, Chinese, Korean, Japanese and Spanish: the main guest markets for Bali and the languages hosts here write in. Without your own version Airbnb shows guests an automatic translation; it lets you add a version in each language.
Do you store my text?
We keep the result for 24 hours so the same listing isn't processed twice, and a salted hash of your connection to apply the daily limit. Not your IP address.
Does a better description raise my bookings?
We can't promise that. A clear description with the facts guests look for is the part of the listing you fully control; we show what we see in our data and you decide.
